NP Wetsuits are a part of NeilPryde Windsurfing which is a brand of Pryde Group. NeilPryde brand was founded in 1981 and is for some time now a market leader in the windsurfing industry. Thanks to Antoine Albeau NeilPryde dominated the racing scene with Antoine winning the PWA Slalom World Championship title in 2007 and broke a new world speedsailing record of 49.09 knots in 2008. NeilPryde Windsurfing was also the official supplier of windsurfing sails, rigs and boards for the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. The offer whole range of windsurfing products including NeilPryde Wetsuits.
NeilPryde started making wetsuits in 1994. At that time they offered more than 200 different other products.
In 2000, they added two more brands – windsurf board brand JP- Australia and kitesurfing brand Cabrinha.
In 2004 they took over Icetools brand. They also own snowboarding brand Flow.
In the year 2005 they added another wetuit brand – ia kite neoprene clothing brand NPX.
Recently they have also re-branded all their wetsuits (NeilPryde and NPX) which are now called NP wetsuits.
