WEST was founded in 1982 by two surfers, Patrick Leahy and Roger Liley. The name of this Australian company represents Australia’s west coast – vast, isolated, and ful of quality powerful waves. Today West wetsuits are one of the top surfing brands in the world and are at the moment on of the few that use limestone neoprene called geoprene in some of their suits, together with other environmentally sustainable materials like bamboo and recycled bottle fabrics. They were also the first company to offer a lifetime warranty on stitching.
